Naughty Nutella and M&Ms truffles
Warning! These little babies are highly addictive
Making indulgent and naughty truffles doesn’t have to be a serious affair. Here is a super easy short-cut with my favourite chocolate and nut spread: NUTELLA.
And yes, you can still show off your chocolatier skills with the girls, handing out this decadent treat after dinner, or surprising the boy with a romantic night in. It’s our little secret, just between you and me, I won’t tell anyone
.
This is what you need:
5 tablespoons of Nutella
100g of chocolate (dark chocolate works better, but it’s your choice)
1 pack of M&Ms
A sprinkle of rock salt
Let’s get our hands dirty:
Put 5 TBS of Nutella in a bowl, flatten the surface and place in the fridge for a couple of hours.
Once the Nutella has refrigerated, remove it from the fridge and use a tea-spoon to dig into the chocolate, add a M&M in the middle, then roll into a ball. You should have enough mixture to shape about 12 truffles.
Place them on a tray covered in kitchen foil. Put them into the freezer for 20 minutes.
Melt the chocolate, by placing a bowl on top of a saucepan of boiling water.
Remove the shaped truffles from the freezer and with either your fingers or a cocktail stick dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, then place it back onto the kitchen foil. Wait 5 minutes for the chocolate to dry, and sprinkle them with the rock salt.
Delicious and naughty truffles with a surprise in the middle!
